New issue 1479 by [email protected]: Anthy GBus Error
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1479
Hi,
I'm on Linux Ubuntu 12.04, using the latest DBus/IBus/Anthy versions from
the standard repositories, and I've been using it alright for months.
However a week ago I noticed the feature in which one can create new
wordlists from the Anthy settings. I made a wordlist for kaomoji (testing
it out), and after that Anthy stopped working. Of course, it could have
nothing to do with the wordlist nor its contents. I'll paste below the
errors I get when running:
$ ibus-daemon -vrx
What happens is, IBus runs correctly and I was able to use Ibus-pinyin
without any issues, so my guess is Ibus-anthy or Anthy the issue on my case.
I opened the Anthy settings from the command line:
$ /usr/lib/ibus-anthy/ibus-setup-anthy
In order to attempt to remove the wordlist which (I guess) made the bug,
but even after removing it the issue persists. Maybe it was something else?
"private_words_default2" is the wordlist file I added and "ibus_log" is the
output received from IBus.
What I find weird is that the error by itself doesn't look like it was
something I did when including the wordlist but rather something to do with
Python. Well, that's just a guess.
Thanks in advance
