It seems the comment I added last week did not stick.
After adding a second engine, US - Dvorak, the problem did not occur until
today. I was using Oracle SQLDeveloper when all keyboard input ceased.
Prior to that Netbeans had worked for several days without issue.
I have no way to correctly test if this issue is engine independent. But,
my feeling is that it may be.
