The issue with ibus-pinyin defaulting to double pinyin even if full
pinyin is configured is not fixed for me even with the newest ibus from
November 9th.
Probably you could provide the problem with detail.
I'm not the pinyin user so I don't use the pinyin mode but I confirmed the
radio button value is saved when I click either "Full pinyin" or "Double
pinyin".
% dconf read /desktop/ibus/engine/pinyin/DoublePinyin
