New issue 1556 by [email protected]: autogen.sh arguments not quoted when
passed to configure

Some arguments, such as CFLAGS="-g -O2", are not passed correctly to
configure due to missing quoting.
To reproduce: ./autogen.sh CFLAGS="-g -O2"
