New issue 1639 by [email protected]: translit-ua ignores definitions
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1639
OS: Ubuntu 12.10
Architecture: x86_64
IBus version: 1.4.1
Input method name and version: translit-ua 1.3.0.20100528-3
Python version:2.7.3
dbus version:1.4.18
dbus-python version:1.0.0
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications):3.4.2
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install ibus-table-translit-ua
2. add translit-ua input method
3. use input method in any application
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When using this input method, it seems that definitions are ignored.
1. Space should be half-width. It enters full-width.
2. Auto-select, auto-commit = true are ignored. Must press space to select
character.
3. always-show-lookup = false is ignored. Candidates are always shown.
Please provide any additional information below.
Russian-translit works correctly. I compared the two table .txt files
(translit.txt and translit-ua.txt) and they are identical, except for the
differing characters.
When I try to build the inputs manually using those two table files, the
results for both are the same as above. (Russian-translit works as
installed, but if manually built it ignores the definitions like
translit-ua).
I hope that makes sense.
thank you
