Thank you for your response. But I may do some comments about the suggested
procedures:
I'm using Mageia 3 (x86_64) with KDE 4, and there's no such ibus-gtk2
module available from Mageia official repositories; instead, I've installed
ibus-gtk3 and ibus-gtk, and a further module that seems to fit these
compatibility issues with Firefox, Thunderbird and other gtk applications
running on KDE: ' kimpanel-ibus-panel ';
Installation of ibus under KDE might have some kind of script to assure
that that all these modules be installed, I think...
