New issue 1708 by [email protected]: Please remove Korean XKB
from "simple" engine
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1708
I saw this input method entry in the ibus "simple" engine.
<engine>
<name>xkb:kr:kr104:kor</name>
<language>kor</language>
<license>GPL</license>
<author>Peng Huang
<[email protected]></author>
<layout>kr(kr104)</layout>
<longname>Korean (101/104 key compatible)</longname>
<description>Korean (101/104 key
compatible)</description>
<icon>ibus-keyboard</icon>
<rank>99</rank>
</engine>
Actually I'm the one who wrote the kr/kr104 XKB layouts in
xkeyboard-config. But these layouts alone can never be used for Hangul
input. They just provide additional "Hangul" and "Hanja" key symbols on the
Korean standard keyboard.
It's just confusing Korean users. Please remove this.
