Comment #7 on issue 698 by [email protected]: Show key combinations or
decomposition rules after character commit.
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=698
I am not sure what exactly is requested here as I cannot read Chinese.
If possible, please explain in English, this would make it easier for me to
fix it.
But maybe the problem reported here is working already?
For example, let’s assume we use wubi-jidian86.
We can switch to pinyin mode using the menu, the floating panel, or
the right shift key.
In pinyin mode, type
"ni3 LeftShift hao4 LeftShift"
The left shift key commits to preëdit, i.e. not directly
to the application.
Now we can move around in the preëdit using the arrow-left/arrow-right
keys.
For the character the cursor is on, the possible wubi key sequences
are displayed.
If the cursor is on 你,
"wq wqi wqiy #: wqvb"
is displayed. "wq", "wqi", and "wqiy" are the possible wubi
key sequences for 你. In case of 好,
"vb vbg #: wqvb"
is displayed. "vb" and "vbg" are the possible wubi key sequences for 好.
"#: wqvb" in both cases indicates the new sequence "wqvb" which will be
defined for the whole string 你好 when this preëdit is committed to
the application by typing SPACE.
