Comment #15 on issue 1492 by [email protected]: Default code range filter/mode isn't the most usable for Wubi tables.
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1492

1. On screen toolbar (at least from ibus-table side which I have power
to change codes) should be always display by default, with an option
on menu (tray) to enable/disable. As IBus had been doing along Gnome 2
ages, it let users know the status of the modes (Table/Engish,
Direct/Not direct, SC/TC/Big modes, etc). I found the Gnome UX annoyed
me for quite a while.

We cannot do anything about that in Gnome3 if Gnome3 does not want this.
In the other desktops, the floating toolbar still works.

2. Any pop-up/toasts for initial guiding the usage of IBus-Table when
users use the at the first time. This can be an option for users to
have that shown at the first time only, every time when they logged in
Gnome, or always.

If you think this is important, please open a new issue.

I think this is not so important though, ibus-table also has
a setup tool now which also has an option for this Chinese mode,
it seems quite obvious what this "Chinese mode" option does,
it also has an quite verbose tooltip.

A bit more user documentation for ibus-table would be nice though.

I close this bug now because the main issue is fixed.
