IBus version: 1.5.7
Input method name and version: ibus-m17n 1.3.4 & m17n 1.6.5
Python version: 3.4 or 2.7.8
dbus version: 1.8.6
dbus-python version: 1.2.0
Desktop environment: MATE
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add an input method from the m17n set.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A generic gear icon is displayed whenever an m17n input method is selected.
The on-screen switcher always displays "kbd(m17n)" or the shorthand name of
the method, rather than the full Language + method.
