I want to share my joy and my method with you. Since putting Yahoo!-KeyKey
into iBus, I have had no other wishes.
Method is as follows:
1. Get Yahoo input method's sourse, whose table is in sourse/table
2. Copy characters in the table from cangjie.cin with vim
3. Open /usr/share/ibus-table/tables/template.txt with vim
4. Modify parameters in template.txt, and copy the table from cangjie.cin
into it
5. ibus-table-createdb -n DEST -s SRC
I made an input method icon in order to make it similar to Yahoo!'s. I
admit that some basic English is used while modifying the settings. Note
that if you do like Yahoo!'s input style, make the MAX ALLOWED INPUT LENGTH
6 or higher rather than 5. As far as I'm concerned, I like typing with
space.
Making this table helps me learned some common commands of vim. Indeed many
benefits!
