gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications):

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.in large area of text, and only happens with chrome and firefox
2.select a piece of text
3.click on it will remove the text rather than unselect.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
unselect, using english input is fine
