dbus-python version: 1.2.0
gtk version (if bug is about gtk applications): 2.24.25 // 3.12.2
qt version (if bug is about qt applications): 4.8.6 // 5.3.2
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install ibus
2. Start ibus-daemon
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The ibus-daemon doesnt bring up the tray icon. Neither on Archlinux, nor on
Gentoo.
Please provide any additional information below.
Running on KDE 4.14.3
ibus-daemon runs, but doesnt tell anything, even when run in Verbose mode
$ ibus-daemon -v
