http://www.catalina27.org/Ftp-index.htm I know that with aft sheeting on the boom you will have a bimini forward enough to partly cover the hatch. You may choose to fabricate a clear connector/windshield to connect between cabin top and bimini. I can't tell you how much we valued having this improvement when it came to anchoring out in rainy weather or motoring through the rain.
