Just wondering what your opinions are on sail inventory? I'm going with hanks.
I want to do some racing but its only during the summer. The rest of the year I
may do a little here and there but mostly it'll be cruising with my girlfriend.
Initially I was going to get a 150% and a 110%. Thinking I would mostly use the
110% cruising and the 150% racing. A 150% is just so much sail for me and her
to deal with unless it is real light wind. Now I'm thinking if I get a 135%
instead of the 150% we may use it more cruising but the trade off is we would
sacrifice some racing performance. Another issue, I 'd rather fly an
asymetrical spin any day than mess with a poled out jib. I guess it wouldn't be
so bad if I rigged up the pole correct but I don't really like poles anyway.
What do you guys think and what is your inventory? Thanks Brandon Snider
