Brandon,

We've had both rigs on my Sea Scout C27 #6254. Donation came with no jib - just a 150 genny on the furler. The hanks work great, but it can make for some exciting times on the foredeck. For safety I'm going back to the furler, as some of my crew isn't really comfortable changing the big sail underway for a J24 jib we were given.

The older kids are fine with it, but I'm "signed for" everyone's safety.

Be careful removing the rivets. My stay got nicked. It's being repaired now so we can get the furler back aboard. In the meantime we used hanks on a backup forestay.

Yea, I'm not sure what make it is. I was going to keep it an let it go when I sell the boat but if you could use it that would work. I can get you some pictures if you want. Where are you? I was going to drill the rivets out of the foil so I could take it apart. Let me know what you think. Brandon Snider
