Try Progessive. It has an online calculator. You can play around with your
deductibles and coverage to get the rate you want.
Progressive is first-rate. When my C&C 25 was sunk in Hurricane Wilma in
2005, I had a $9,000 check in hand in three weeks. The company was a little
slow to remove the wreckage, causing me to get several angry phone calls from
Miami-Dade County park rangers, but that was a problem for all insurance
companies because hundreds of boats were sunk in and around Biscayne Bay.

I use Geico but they have some issues also. WIll not pay for storm or wind
damage. Had to have it for the marina.

I recently insured by 1981 C27 through Boat US. While they have awesome rates,
it turns out some of their policies don't make any sense. To shorten a long
story, they won't insure my boat for even 1/2 it's surveyed fair market value.
I have an issue with this. Sooo...

I'm looking for decent boat insurance. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance,
Mike
