Hi, My Standard Horizon DS150 depth meter ( http://www.standardhorizon.com/indexVS.cfm?cmd=DisplayProducts&ProdCatID=86&ProdID=656&DivisionID=3 )died on me day before yesterday.
It was raining but we decided to sail anyway (August is slow here at Chesapeake bay). Depth meter worked for first 30 minutes, next it shows fog inside the gauge display, and ...died. Nothing. After we came back I open the back access to it (where the cables are getting connected and use my wife hair drier to dry it out. After 2 hours it seemed dry but still is not working. Any suggestion how to go about fixing it? I have checked and it is not manufactured any longer, also nobody sells it on ebay... Thank you for your suggestions. Happy sailing Robert
