At this point one of the more important things to do is disable your bilge
pump. The fines and clean up fees are scary.

 

Everything drain to the bilge so it could be diesel from the tank running
down to the engine pan and then the bilge.

hi Yawl,

ok, so i'ma new to havin' an engine NOT hangin' off this here transom but
actually bein' inboard. today i was a checkin' the bilge fer water and found
sumpin akin to that which shuttant be in the bilge in the first place. Oil!
then i went a checkin' in the engine compartment, ya know there where the
engine is kept, and found summore. Oil! well now like i said before i'ma new
to this here engine stuff so i was a just wonderin' if i should be a writin'
out a check to my local mechanic now or iffin' i should wait to here from
you nice folks on the subject first. waddyathink? how much do ya reckon
this'll cost me?
