Hi all, I'm thinking about getting an autpilot (1984 C-27 / wheel) and wanted to ask about people's experience. There is one currently listed on ebay (Autohelm St3000) that is reasonably priced at around $400 (plus another $200 to install). I know a new Raymarine X-5 complete is around $1250 but I'm trying not to (can't) spend that much on an autopilot. I might not do it at all but I wanted to check on this group's experience with them on their boats.
