Having parted out 3 27's and sailed a good bit on a 22, I can tell you with some amount of certainty that they are not interchangeable.
1, the 22 has a transom hung rudder and the 27 uses an inboard rudder with a post. 2, the 27's rudder is much larger although roughly the same shape. I wish you had chimed in last year, I had a spare rudder.sorry .
