My family and I are looking for a C27 as a project to teach our kids (13 and 8)
something about boats and sailing. My wife and I used to sail as merchant
mariners, she a fully licensed captain any tonnage, and me 1st assistant steam
and diesel. Yes, she is the boss... We also campaigned racing boats in NE,
before moving to VA, so we are comfortable sailing. I was thinking that we
want a tall rig with a dinette layout and an inboard diesel, but have not
sailed a C27 yet, so can't be sure. One thing I do know is that we are looking
for a project boat, that is in the condition yours was, prior to all of your
hardwork! If you have run across someone that is looking for a good home for
their boat, and are willing to part with it for a few thousand, have them reach
out to me!
