Hi all, I have leaks coming from the bolts in the Genoa tracks and was looking
for the 'easiest' remedy. As you know, access to the nuts underneath is limited
at best, so rather than using a Dremel (or some other tool) to cut away most of
the fiberglass in the cabin, running the length of each track, I'm looking for
a magic pill.

What is the best caulk or adhesive to at least reduce the amount of water that
is coming through these bolts? I'm hoping for something that allows me to
loosen each bolt, one at a time, add this magic goo and tighten everything up
without having to rip the whole boat apart.

This is stated in a tongue-in-cheek way for a reason. I know there are no easy
fixes and if you do something, you should do it right, but I would really like
to hear which shortcut methods have worked and which have not.

I also plan on rebedding the stanchions, putting backing plates on and then
eventually getting to the chain plates...but for now, I'm looking for some
'McGyver' fixes that allow me to add an adhesive to the bolts and tighten them
back up.

Thanks,

Michael
