Can anyone lend advice about how to read prop markings? Amongst the things my father left behind from his Catalina 42 was a propellor. It's a heavy three bladed thing. I've tried to read the markings but it's kind of hard to read given it was in storage for some time. There are markings on the hub as well as the (either head or aft) shaft. I'm hoping to resell it.
I appreciate any advice that can be had from our little club here. I know I can't use this on my 27, it's WAY too big. (unknown mark) 18 "x" (looks like an x but missing upper left stroke) 13 1¼ or? (unknown mark) 5/8 "x" (looks like an x but missing upper left stroke) 13 1¼ --- (curved "michigan" text) 10 / 90 italic lowercase m? MR (with line from above through it, curved, arrowhead past the "mr") 18 RH 13 --- Any help interperting this is very much appreciated.
