I have had similar problems trying to search for information on topics that I
know have been discussed on the list. I do not know what the technical
problem(s) is, but I have heard that this is an area of weakness in the Yahoo
Groups system.

Hi Matt,

I did a test and got the same results so I've sent a trouble ticket. I'll
let you know the results when I see them.

Subject: [IC27A] using the search engine for messages

Hi all,

Pardon this new-to-the-list question, but can anyone offer advice on how to
use the search function for messages? For example, as a test, I just tried
searching for the word "dodger" with several posts about dodgers on the
screen in front of me, and the search engine returned "We did not find
results for 'dodger'." This makes it very difficult to explore the
collective wisdom of the group.

Thanks,

Matt
