John,

 

Look and see if you can find a solar vent sold as a kit for none through
deck applications. I think Nicro had one at one time. I'm thinking you might
be able to vent behind the skylights into the space under the hood and mount
the cell panel on centerline in front of the traveler beam. The fan flow
gets blocked with the hatch open but does it matter at that point.

Any one found a place to put one of these in a 270?  The 270 has a hood over
the head and main part of the cabin..  the only other single thickness cabin
roof area is right in front of the mast where it is likely to stub toes and
get stepped upon.
