Nah, you're not insane.  But you ARE broke now.  <grin>.

Shhh... don't tell anybody, but my boat has  Harken 44 two-speed self tailers 
for the jib sheet.  The 44:1 gear is for me, and the 30:1 gear is for the 
guys....  but you know, the guys are so lazy that they use the 44:1 all the 
time.

Thanks all. I ordered some harken cam cleats.... And now Just ordered new 
Lewmar 30STs from Catalina direct:) - am I insane? They will take about a month 
to show up. I was thinking of relocationing them further aft but not sure yet. 
I leave the sheets on deck ready to snap onto whichever sail I hank on.
