I have been searching for live webcams of various locations around the Great
Lakes. One such is located at www boatnerd. com then go to "Vessel
Passage" then "Port Huron" then "Click here for live webcam".

What you are looking at is the St. Cair river with Canada on the right and
Port Huron on the left. Ahead is the Blue Water Bridge to Canada and lake
Huron is off in the distance about 2 miles north. This is an excellent place
to view the Great Lakes freighters. It is pretty exciting to see a 1000'
freighter come through. I have watched the boats in the Port Huron to
Mackinaw race pass here on Saturday mornings of the race. The current is
fairly strong and most boats pass to the far side as the current is a little
slower there.

I used to watch the submarine races about 30 miles north of here!
