sound like you would need to lay your hands on a bunch of expensive stuff to
full convert it to a marine application. I know a mechanic in my area who has
done several M18 installations on Catalinas. In most cases the customers
found salvaged marine engines that needed going over but all the basic stuff
was there. He fixed'em up and did the installation on a time and materials
basis. His name is Jim Zima, dba Great Lakes Diesel, in Huron, Ohio.
By the way, he has all the stuff to do replacement of M18 exhaust systems
on Catalinas.
