It's been a busy Spring, and I can't wait for you to see our updates to our boat s/v Soiree. Tony finished the over-the-hanging-locker shelf addition he dreamed about all winter. It looks amazing - like it was original to the boat, and securely holds the DC radio, VHF radio, binocs, cell phones, gps, etc. We also installed a teak snack table/drink holder in the cockpit so "no more spilled cocktails" when we come about. We also added a new 9.9hp 4-stroke Yamaha engine (and new mounting block to support it) and two new marine batteries to make sure the tunes will run as long as we wish the party to continue and so we can get home if there's no wind when the party's over. Yesterday we mended the headsail, cleaned the bottom, drained the holding tank for the head, and re-filled the fresh water tank. Whew. WE'RE READY FOR A GOOD, LONG, SHAKEDOWN CRUISE. And guess what? The 29th is a long weekend. . . . . . Pictures to come . . .
