I recently sold my old racing sails on ebay and am going to use the money for a new main. I have found a compay called Kelly-Hanson Sails that offers a off the shelf sail for the C27. They have the sails in stock and ready to ship. They are quite reasonable at only $615 for a main. My usually sailmaker said he can't touch that price. This is our cruising boat and I don't need a super sleek race sail. Just looking for a quality cruising sail as the existing one is OK, but has been patched and is at the end of it's life. This company looks good and offers a 3 year warranty on the sail for materials and workmanship. Also a money back guaranty on the sail.
Curious if anyone has any knowledge of their sails. Only thing not listed is sail weight. I think minimum for a C27 main is 5.3 or 5.5. So I am going to cal them in the morning and see what weight and maybe order one up. Supposed to be same day shipping via UPS which means a new sail by next weekend.
