Gosh, the loss of a member hits hard no matter the circumstances!
Congratulations on the opportunity to move up & birthday. Perhaps the bigger
boat will ease the pain of loosing a close family member (Gaylee Gal). I
suppose it is like seeing one's daughter get married and move away. What are
you seeking in a next boat?

Gentlemen and Ladies,
I recently, and quite unexpectedly, sold my 1987 Catalina 27 TR,
Gaylee Gal to Gregg Doolittle of Spring Lake, Mi. I suggested he join your
list.
Thank you to all who have over the last 9 years made this the best
source of information and advice anyone could have. Best wishes to all.
Now, on my 62 birthday, thank you very much, I start my search for
the next boat. She'll be hard to replace.

I noticed a creaking noise that I haven't heard before so I'm assuming I
need to lube the steering system. For those who have done it; is it difficult
or fairly straightforward and what kind of lube should I use? Thanks,
Michael
