A while back there was a discussion on tillers. The question asked was about shortening the tiller. I suggested that perhaps they could consider the alternative and that is a curved tiller to be out of the way of crew knees. I have attached (hopefully) two images of my tiller. We have had it for a couple years and all the wife's complaints about hitting her knees & legs have vanished. The tiller was purchased from West Marine (Annapolis). They had a selection of various shapes and I choose the one with the most rise. As can be seen it is way above the knees.
