After a 6 year break I've returned to Catalina27 ownership. I picked up a 1984 C27 hull number 5597 tonight. It is a diesel, wheel steer, tall rig, fin keel boat. It was advertised on craigslist last week for a rediculously low price and I apparently won the caller #1 race to get it. It was 2 damage spots in the hull that need to be addressed. The bow needs some fill and sand. There is about a 2 foot long damaged section of the hull deck joint on the port side that needs some structural cleanup and fill and sand. The boat suffered damage this spring when the Ice clogged the St Clair River and flooded the marina pushing the boat against a metal I-beam. The wood bowsprit block and baby stay need replaced. The rest of the hull and interior are in beautiful condition and the engine ran great. Ryan
