Hey folks, My gennaker halyard failed (fortunately just the outer sheath, so it didn't drench the sail...) so I need to replace it. Since the halyard, also bears the force of the sail, though, I figure it needs to be pretty darned strong.
I'm looking at 4,400 pound load limit line for the halyard--is that sufficient? I would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks Bailey Carioca #6157
