Matthew,

It's very difficult to know what a PO has done in the way of changes. Hence
the Seco South where they insist you ship them the old rigging before they
start. That way it always fits.

I have a brand-new forestay I purchased this spring from Catalina Direct,
only to discover that it wouldn't work out because the turnbuckles on mine
turned out to be non-standard (in my case, oversized). It was cut extra
long, to be threaded through my roller furler and used with a Norseman
swageless terminal fitting at the masthead, so it would work on just about
any C-27 (but mine), and its doing no good sitting in my cellar, so I'd be
happy to sell it to you for a nominal price (like $20) plus shipping.
