Yes. Sovereignty is a cutter. I set up my cutter sail as a Yankee and used the same track and car as my former jib. I did it to have a storm sail in place so I wouldn't have to go forward to strike a larger sail and raise a small sail if and when the wind picked up. I installed running backstays at the point of attachment for the cutter sail as well as a second set of shrouds at the point of attachment. If you wish to see pictures, go to ahsovereignty.com. I will be striking my mast in early September in Buffalo on my way back to New York City from the North Channel of Georgian Bay so I can take specific pictures if you wish something other than what I have available on my web site or in my photo library. Has anyone on this list made a cutter of their C-27? Was it worth it? Speed? Pointing ability? Balance? Etc? Thanks, John
