I am already scheming about how I will get my nephew,
not born until around Feb. 20th to want to ride
horses:)

My brother and I were both started in horseback riding
lessons together, we were going to share the pony,
then one day my brother rode our pony in the weekly
lesson, I guess my brother was about 7 years old. The
pony was on the the kids, he was a favorite before we
bought him, anyway, Sequoia decided when he was
finished with the riding lesson, he went over to the
old wooden gait, opened it, and left (with my
brother). I don't think my brother has ridden more
than twice since then, it really scared him, even
though Sequoia just walked back to the barn. My
brother is not a huge horse fan.
