when we bought our usual feed last week the price had gone up. Not much but when you multiply it by ten bags, it was definitely noticeable. When we asked why, the feed store owner said all feed is going up because of some new program using corn for automobile fuel. He said when corn went up, people switched to oats, so oats went up. So all horse feed is going up, and for me, chicken feed too! so if chicken feed goes up, price of fried chicken and raw chickens in stores go up. Do cows eat corn? then if so beef will be going up! once again, the farmer is s-o-l! Janice
