I think the bute is more for the pain; but it may also act as a blood thinner, retarding coagulation. So that's probably a valid point. What's with your hip? Do you need a replacement? They can do a minimally invasive one now that is supposed to heal really fast. If a contrast scan detects a lesion inside the capsule, they can clean that up with arthroscopic surgery.
