>>>> maybe you overlooked, that this was not a clinic for conformation only,
but for evaluation (including conformation, but also the riding abilities.

That was not an accidental oversight. I've made it quite clear that I have
NO interest in riding the way they ride at Icelandic shows...and I hate to
say it, but I basically consider the riding part of the evaluations a
"show." They certainly aren't set up to judge heritable traits. The only
part that I have ANY interest in is the conformation judging.

>>> And why do you complain then the material which was used at the clinic??
I don't think the handouts of this seminar was entiteld "Icelandic horse
judging guide from A - Z". It was a handout and went together with
explanations of the person who gave the clinic, I strongly guess.

I CARE, Jasmin. I care about this breed, and I've tried desperately to
learn as much about this breed and its breeding standard - good and bad.
Lord knows, I've bought about every book and video I can get my hands on
regarding this breed - drawing the line at that Jolli video that I've
mentioned before. This is one of the very few things I've been able to find
on the subject of conformation relating to evaluations. Yep, I know it's
not the Icelandic judging guide from A-Z, but it's kind of sad that it's one
of the few things I've been able to find, either on the Internet or in
print, on this subject.
