It's very much Starri's normal behavior to stand around and do nothing!
Not sure about Kopar...his old owner says he is frisky when it's cold
and a slug when it's hot. He does have longer hair than Starri. The
only time I have really seen them nuzzling each other is when they had
their grazing muzzles on and were trying to rub them off on each other.
I'm just trying to figure out how to work things out here...never
thought I would be worried about a large pasture!

That's true! So wonder what is wrong with the "Paddock Paradise" idea
of keeping them moving? Seems like this would help their waistline? It
also could be a colossal waste of time and money as questions I have is
do you have to walk/ drive these "several acres" each morning to put out
bits of feed, manure management, will they really keep moving, etc.? A
working person would not have time for this. Have to keep reading...he
does say that this is a work in progress and probably always will be.
Like anything else, take what you can use and leave the rest....

Now, if I rode 50 miles a day like Janice's friend, they would be
getting plenty of exercise. ;-) But my back and behind could not do
that...
