I have the same problem! but I have not heard it called "shark fin" before. I have tried a lot of things. The thing I am going to try next on jaspar with the sensation is a cashel reverse lollipop wedge. It has worked on him before with other saddles. If I put it so it fills the dip that drops off right behind the withers it is short enough to stay off his prominent fistula vertebra bumps. Also, a saddle pad that is "cutback" will work. The sensation has a nice pommel that is almost like a cutback I have found with Jas... janice -- yipie tie yie yo
