At one time you could do something similar to get a horse approved as breeding stock for the RMH's too. I bred Holly to a Rocky stallion, but unfortunately, that was about the time she developed her thyroid (or whatever) problems and she lost the baby very early in the pregnancy. I can't remember the exact terms but I could have had Holly approved to some status and the foal would have been registerable I believe. It's been over 10 years so I don't remember exactly.
