Isn't it wonderful that we have these great little digital cameras and sites like YouTube? I think isolating what defines a trot versus foxtrot will be key in eliminating the virtually-three-gaited horses from the breeding pool. But, we have to be willing to talk about it, and maybe help each other analyze some videos. I'm getting excited - I'm hearing more people than ever willing to talk about Icelandic's doing other comfortable soft gaits that may not literally be "tolt". Maybe things ARE starting to change...not in what the horses are actually doing or are capable of doing, but in what people will talk about Karen Thomas [EMAIL PROTECTED]
