Hi Pat: I did give my colt an iodine bath a few weeks ago when the weather permitted. It has been a very warm winter here in WV and we even had temps into the high 60's. I have also been putting an iodine based solution called Xenodine on it daily followed by Shapeley's MTG. Most of his spots have hair growing in them now but I am continuing the MTG for a while. My vet told me that if it is too cold for a bath she has used the original Listerine on rainrot. I would guess a dilulted solution of Clorox (Deacon's solution) would work also.
