I just wonder if you are thinking of the same Traveller! He is a
TANK. But then you are so used to icelandics... and Tivar, oh my,
those legs! I was looking at Nasi today standing beside Tivar and his
little legs looked so tiny... I think Traveller is exactly 14hh.
measured by a stick with a level on it somewhere we were off to one
time. Him and Stonewall are cousins you know. Stonewalls mom was
17hh and his dad was 14hh and stonewall is 15hh. Travellers mom was
14.2 and his dad was 14hh i think. But his mom is a tank and his dad
is more built like stonewall... Traveller looks very tall and lean in
that pic cause he was nearly dehydrated, shame on me/us! He went to
urinate and only a dribble came out and he kept straining. I gave him
electrolytes yesterday and today and he is still dehydrated a little
but drinking constantly! his urine is clear now and not dark... also
he looks tall cause he was so INTERESTED in everything :) My husband
had just brought him back from the washrack (believe it or not my
husband thinks he had rinsed him nice and clean oh brother) and he was
just in a high state of alert staring at all the horses just about 20
feet away lining up for the after ride wash off.
