He proves all the clinicians wrong when they say its ground training
ground training ground training that makes a horse safe. he can fetch
a cowboy hat, bow, stand on a stump and for two years before he was
old enough to ride I took him on long walks like a dog, over hill and
dale, through swamps, into sand pits, stood him next to bonfires and
heavy equipment. Had him where he would stand dead still at a
mounting block while I would lean over him and wave my arms madly. he
is afraid of nothing. Everywhere we ride he is the most pleasant safe
mount you would ever want. But in any large group, say 10 or more, he
gets so excited he simply cannot stand himself. He actually quivers.
His head darts around if a leaf blows by, he cant miss anything...
sigh. what am i to do with my walls! he is a CASE.
