i think the bond comes while working thru issues. It does with me. and the best bond is when the horse feels he has permission to think for himself and be trusted to make the right decision while the person feels like she can trust him to not kill her that day. when you have that, it is more prescious than gold, than gait, than anything! it is what all horse people seek and dream of.
