my God! What a concept! A trained calm horse! I cant help it, I know I shouldnt say it but I cant stop myself. In the video when she makes a circle around the horses head to point out the licking and chewing as a sign of relaxation, did anyone else see another big sign of relaxation? I did... he had "dropped" a little. A huge sign of contentment and relaxation in my experience. Not having anything at all to do with hormones, sex, none of that. Time and time again I notice my geldings do that when relaxed and content--- getting home after a long hard ride, eating, getting turned in with a friend, being massaged or petted or loved on... all my horses do that! I think its cool. People never mention this, because i think it embarasses them, but it absolutely is an expression of peace and contentment, it really is. Janice-- yipie tie yie yo
